This eight-part drama series, commissioned by IOMX Myanmar, explores the benefits and risks of migration for Burmese people. With hundreds of thousands migrating from villages to cities or abroad, the series highlights the potential for exploitation and educates audiences on available government resources. Blending fiction with documentary elements, the series portrays the realities faced by migrants, emphasising their resilience and the importance of informed decisions.
As Series Director, Producer, Writer, and Editor, I played a central role in shaping the series. I was the main writer, crafting scripts inspired by real migrant stories to ensure authenticity. I directed the majority of episodes and handled all stages of production, including pre-production, shooting, and editing. This project was a significant milestone, allowing me to address critical social issues through compelling narratives.
