I direct, shoot, and edit.

Hi, I’m Myoset! I make films about people. Sometimes it’s fiction, sometimes it’s real life. Always personal. I started out as a video journalist, then joined BBC Media Action Myanmar, where I worked on a short video and radio series about how people prepare for climate extremes. That’s where I built my filmmaking foundation. After that, I moved into client-based work, and now, as a freelancer, I’m shifting toward more independent projects.
My strengths? A Master’s in Filmmaking from Bournemouth University (just in case that sort of things matters, lol), a mix of academic know-how and hands-on experience. While a lot of my work leans documentary, I also do narrative fiction. Either way, I’m drawn to personal stories that build empathy and spark change. I love making intimate portraits full of emotions and character.
I’m adaptable. From concept development and treatments to directing, shooting, and editing, I cover the whole process with precisions and deadlines in mind. Whether you’re looking to collaborate or just need solid freelance support, I’m here to help bring your vision to life.
